The 5 Best Kit Foundation

 Hey Creatives!

The hardest part about building your kit is planning what foundations to carry. Not only is this an expensive investment, it's the most important one too. Remember it's mandatory that you can meet everyones skin tone needs, but you also need to think about skin type and coverage concerns. This is why we decided to break it all down for you right here!

First and foremost you'll want to understand the formulas that you are buying and ensure that they work together, but you will also look for light vs full coverage or formulas that can be sheered down. You may also want to carry both matte and dewy formulas in your kit.

You may be thinking "that's a lot to carry!" well, this is why we put our foundation in minimzed carrying cases and smaller bottles. So, we  give you some links to places to get some great downsizing products here.

The 5 Best Kit Foundations :

1. Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Foundation

This is a a waterproof full cover foundation concentrate, it covers, corrects and conceals. This one has been an essential in the kit's of Makeup Artists all over the world because of the beautiful skin like texture that mimics the appearance of healthy, radiant skin. Plus, this foundation is totally transformable, by mixing with primer, moisturizer or oil your can sheer the coverage, add more glow or even create a more satin finish.  A little bit of this goes along way! Here are out favorite shades SX01, SX03, SX05, SX07, SX10, SX13, SX15 and SX16.

Some must have shades are R540, Y505, Y415, R370, Y245, Y215 and 100 White. They also sell this foundation in a pre-made palette that is kit ready.

3. Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

This is another cult classic foundation, it definitely is the most expensive on our list but we love it for the radiant matte finish and the gorgeous wear on almost every skin type. This is a great foundation for mature skin and oily skin types too. It really mimics the look of skin with a medium coverage. It's designed to cover minor imperfections, like redness, and subtle discolorations. Here are our must have shades: 1.5, 3, 4.5, 5.75, 7.5, 8.5, 10, 11.5, 13 and 15.

4. Face And Body Foundation

Ok, so this foundation is really something that has been used backstage for decades. It's an ICONIC Foundation because of it's skin like finish and buildable formula.  This foundation is absolutely perfect product for the No Makeup Makeup Look. I also love this foundation as primer for any foundation because of its ability to blur, smooth and make the skin glow. Here are the must have shades for our kit. This foundation also comes in small and large sizes, we definitely recumbent the 120 ML to get the best bang for your buck. And we say carry all shades, It will change your world!

M.A.C Face and Body Foundation

5. Danessa Myricks Vision Cream Cover

This is a great starter set for building your foundation kit. Vision Cream cover is a matte foundation but your can mix it with oil or moisturizer to sheer down the formula and transform the finish. The kits come in natural and warm shades, you can definitely get both but we recommend staring with the natural. Weadore this foundation because it comes kit ready and takes all the hard work out choosing the right shades plus it has a crazy long wear.

Happy Kit building Creatives and remember you don't need to get every color we recommended start with a few shades and mixing but you definitely need range to match every single skin-tone in your chair.
